Developed as part of the Makridis Associates team, the proposal adapts existing structures into a rural destination centered on food production, seasonal harvesting, and shared culinary experiences. My role focused on the design of communal guest facilities, as well as the overall building design, defining materials and openings to shape the architectural expression and strengthen the connection between the building, the site, and the farm environment.
Guests are invited to engage with the landscape through productive gardens, a mudroom for harvesting activities, a pantry stocked with local produce, and an observation tower overlooking the site. Stone and earthy tones are used, reinforcing the project's connection to the character and rural identity of the surrounding landscape.
